The Afinion HbA1c test is the perfect solution for the busy health practitioner. Quantitative determination of glycated haemoglobin (HbA1c) in human whole blood-used to monitor metabolic control in patients with diabetes. The test may be used for diagnosis of diabetes and in identifying patients who may be at risk for developing diabetes, when in compliance with national guidelines.
