The LabStrip 11SG Plus dipstick allows for the rapid determination of 11 parameters in urine and works with all urine analysers from 77 Elektronika, and can also be used on it's own or with an instrument to measure the results.
The LabStrip U11 Plus high-grade, multi-parameter urinalysis test strips are in vitro diagnostic medical tests for professional clinical and laboratory use. They are designed for semi-quantitative urine analysis from fresh urine. LabStrip U11 Plus test strips are intended to be used in screening tests for liver disease, biliary and hepatic obstructions, diabetes, and hemolytic, urological, and nephrological diseases associated with haematuria or haemoglobinuria, diseases of the kidneys and urinary tract, and pathologic shifts in pH, as well as for the investigation of urinary sediment.
Each test strip has 11 measuring zones that contain sensitive reagents. The colour of the test field changes as the result of a chemical reaction after to urine contact. This colouration can be detected by 77 Elektronika's urine analysers or by visual inspection.
Not all urinalysis dipsticks are created equal! – The LabStrip 11SG Plus incorporates an extra measurement parameter compared to other similar products on the market. Measurement of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) is useful in determining false negatives for bilirubin and glucose. The LabStrip U11 Plus can be used only with the DocUReader, and HandUReader urine analysers or for visual reading. Strips are packed in handy-sized plastic tubes closed with desiccant cap to protect against humidity and provide superior stability. Each tube contains 150 strips and has a shelf life of approximately 12 months.
